One of my older sisters was the most influential person who inspired me. I accepted Christ as a child but didn't really come to the full understanding of what a Christian is until my adult years.
My sister was different then most people that I had come across and I would have to say a very few of those she knew I knew that there was something very different about them. I saw a lot of love come out of her and a few of her friends. Not all of them just some of them.
I was raised in the Catholic church and the teachings are much different then what the bible actually teaches. I also met a few people who were ex-Catholics that were the most warmest people on the face of the earth. I saw Jesus in them.
Through out my childhood which had be quite rough for me and it seem to get much worse when I had accepted Jesus into my heart because weird things started to happen with my family. (I won't go into long details because a lot happened.)
The neatest thing that happened was when I was in elementary school the principal read the bible daily on the PA system and it wasn't even a christian school. It was a public school and I have to wonder if my principal was a christian or what he was? He read the bible faithfully every day while I was in school.
My parents didn't reflect Christ at all because it showed in how they were in church when they would fall asleep during mass. I would often hope for Fridays because my sister would take me to her church to get away from the mad house.
My parent's got angry at me when ever I showed an interest in God especially if it involved with a children's bible study because it was protestant. I don't understand why that was such a big deal for them when they allowed me to go to my sister's church which was protestant evangelical. (Non-denominational)
I really questioned as a child what was christian and I was very confused because I couldn't understand why my parents didn't behave like my sister? I have come to the understanding that my parents aren't saved. Mainly because my father and I had indifferences and we never got along very well. My mother was ok sometimes and other times she would be harsh with me.
My sister really tried to please my parents and they tolerated what she believed. I tell you that girl had Jesus in her because I knew it from when I had accepted Christ. I wanted to be just like her one day. We were like Jonathan and David. She being the level headed Jonathan and me being David getting into trouble.
Sadly she backslid and it was through her backslidden state that I came back to God. I missed how her face would light up when ever she did a kind thing for someone. I missed how she would just be there as my friend and helper when things were tough for me. She was my spiritual mother, role model, and mentor as a child.
My parents still believe to this day I am still a catholic but I have renounced the catholic faith mainly because I believe that the bible is the only truth I will follow.

I am not a Christian but I was before Age twelve so I feel I can answer this question. My Mother. She had me baptized a Pentecostal Holiness at age five. She had me attend Church and bible study twice a week until I was 16. At age 16 I became an Atheists so perhaps too intensive religious training isn't best for a child. Or maybe it is. God Bless L&K

I honestly did not have one. My parents were go to church at Easter and Christmas Catholics. Most of my friends were Jewish and I wanted to become Jewish after attending all their Bat and Bar Mitzvahs. After meeting the man I would marry and remembering my recently deceased grandfather, I began reading the Bible and became a Christian at 28. My husband is the greatest man I've ever known and the fact he loved me made me wonder why and how. I was so far from perfect, still am as a matter of fact.
May God Bless you.

maximum youthful infants do no longer even comprehend the concept of death. i does no longer dare attempt to describe to a baby what "hell" is and that they could bypass there. no longer purely might or no longer that is totally almost merciless to them, however the be certain could be left with a petrified baby who's abruptly having nightmares. i think of it rather is maximum suitable to purely enable the baby learn as they bypass to church in many circumstances. whilst they are around middle college age, then they are going to learn extra relating to the "undesirable" stuff. Then they are going to be of a perfect age to no longer purely take care of such information yet additionally to make the ideal alternatives of their non secular lives.

Christ. Song worship. Come into my heart Lord Jesus. Come in today, come in to stay, Come into my heart Lord Jesus.
My parents were faithful attendants at the Assembly of God & brought us children. My dad would pray a prayer in the church at times. I loved to hear him pray to God. I felt Gods love.
I didn't know much about God, but loved to talk about God, and was criticized for it. So, I quit. But I loved Jesus as a child. I felt the love of God in Church. I loved singing praise songs.
I knew I was a sinner, but didn't really know how. So didn't really understand why Jesus would shed His blood for my sins. But the Sunday School teachers taught me truth. Also the one week summer bible camp.

My parents....
About 89% of what people learn comes through visual stimulation; 10% through audio stimulation; and 1% through other senses. So it makes sense that the more followers see and here their leaders being consistent in action and word, the greater their consistency and loyalty.

Probably my parents. They showed me Christ's love in the way they treated others and the way they lived their lives. I wasn't just "told", I was shown.
