Humans make there bond with there animals because the animal does not judge the human and will show them love if there are shown it.
The animals do not take there love back because the human says something wrong or makes a mistake.
We all could learn a lot from the animal , human bond

Having a pet makes you responsible for another life which is a great learning experience. You have a completely nonjudgmental friend to hang with and maybe even cuddle with which all humans and animals need. They can teach you a LOT about yourself and how to deal with others. No one ever taught me more than my cat about radical acceptance of another's space and choices! LOL You cannot force a cat to do anything but I learned you can invite them to and they will usually be happy to. I was able to use what I learned with a mentally disabled foster child and it really works.

I don't think you can have a significant relationship with an animal. Unless there's something quite wrong with you. Or you're just very, very lonely...

If you are talking about having a pet... I find that they have a better intuition of sensing our feelings, so they provide a no-hassle friendship, and one-way communication (from the human) without saying anything.
