You can go to your local store and buy the wall mount appropriate for your size of TV. One thing you might do also, is to attach a piece of plywood for the background like a frame. The plywood is in the background like a frame and the TV is the picture more of less.

The plywood would extend out about 6 inches or what you think is good. You can laminate the plywood with oak laminate or buy a piece of plywood with oak laminate already pressed on one side. Then the edges you can buy nice wood trim to make it look nice. Then you attach the plywood square to the wall with screws every 6 inches vertically and on the studs of course. You can cover the screw holes up with the small round wooden plugs (I forgot what you call them, I think dowels) or use copper or gold colored screws to make it look good. Then when you put your TV mount up you just attach it to the plywood and put your TV up. Also the mount you can put a coat hanger and that is the place where I put my cordless earphones. I attached the charger to the lower left side then I never lose my charger.

Also TIP. where ever you put your TV you can put a hole in the sheet rock above the electrical outlet. You run a wire INSIDE the wall from the bottom outlet to the top part of the TV. You have to measure your TV First, where you want to put it up. They do not tell you this. This way there is no wire going down from under the TV. I did it the hard way. I put the mount up with wires hanging down, but then took it down and attached the plywood background with plug behind the TV. So I took the TV DOWN. ANYWAY. Then I made a hole in the wall, ran the wire from the outlet up to the outlet behind my TV. I ran it slight lower than the top part. of the TV behind, so you could not see any wire. Also while I was at it, I put my other wires behind the wall too. I attached the speaker wires and put a speaker wire box next to the electrical outlet. Then from my stereo equipment underneath I just connect my speaker wires from reciever to speaker wire box. That way you keep a NEAT frame and no wires dangling.

Go to Radio Shack to get the speaker wire outlet box. In a couple of months I plan to go cordless speaker. I have surround sound but I want to do away with all the wires. Then I can conceal the speakers better and not having to run wires everywhere.
