Actually he wouldn't have. Jewish men of the time had short curly hair, with short tight beards.
Nazarites might have had long hair, but Jesus was a 'Nazarene' (someone from Nazareth), not a 'Nazarite' (member of a certain cult).

He was a Nazirite and There were three principal restrictions resting on those taking the Nazirite vow: (1) They were to drink no intoxicating beverage; neither were they to eat any product of the grapevine, whether unripe, ripe, or dried, nor drink any of its juice, whether in the fresh, fermented, or vinegar state. (2) They were not to cut the hair of their heads. (3) They were not to touch a dead body, even that of the closest relative-father, mother, brother, or sister.

I think it was a religious thing regarding the first born dedicated to God.
Remember Samson & Delilah? Samson wasn't to cut his hair. When his hair was cut, the anointed strength left until his hair grew back.

We don't know if he did or not but in everything we see (paintings and statues) he is wearing it long... maybe it was the style of the day for the painters and sculptor's.

If Jesus was real, he was probably bald or at least close cropped. This would have been due to the heat.

lol... we dont know that he had long hair.... hollywood gave it to him.
anyways, they probably didnt have barbers and he was too busy saving people to worry about his hair.
prophecies also say that jesus was unattracted by other people, and im guessing that long hair would do that
