4 and a half to 5 minutes for soft boiled, wisk with a little bit of milk or water for scrambled, or crack into boiling water and cook for about 3-4 minutes for poached, which are real good on toast!

I like mine basted. And it is an art. You must cook eggs very slow if you don't want a brown skin on the bottom. Salt and pepper in the pan to your taste. And after the bottom turn white start flipping hot grease on the top till they are cooked. Then drain off grease. Yummy!
PS. Don't ever order this kind in a restaurant. Most restaurant cook don't have a clue.

I cook them over easy most of the time, or in an omelet. Or for an appetizer I do develed eggs. I boil them, and then peel them, take the yolks out and out the yolks in a bowl mix in some mayo and spices, whip it up real good and then fill it back into the white part and garnish with parsley..... Yummy

to scramble:
break eggs in bowl ans whisk with fork. add a dash or salt and pepper. heat pan over medium heat and put in a tablesoon or two of butter, or spray with nonstick spray. when pan is hot, pour in eggs. use a spatula to move the eggs around until they are cooked all the way through, typically 2-3 minutes.

Simple...
Let the pan filled with water boil and then place the eggs in it. Check your watch,just after 10 min remove them. You would have the eggs boiled.

fry in a pan in butter over med heat

If I have to have them the must be scrambled..or sometimes hard boiled and I take out the yolk
