We call our chihuahua-mix, "Hoover", for the same reasons.

Right now, she's tending to her new puppy so we feed her what she will eat (alot of milk/cream, and wet catfood mixed with dry dog food). She's even picky about table scraps, now.

BUT, when she's weaned her pup, we'll try and get her back on dry dog food.

Sometimes we'll just let her go hungry until she eats her own food.

Try switching brands of dog food and see if she eats that. Also, my dogs both love beneful wet dog food (one is a chihuahua) so maybe try feeding her that once a day in addition to her dry food, you could also try mixing the dry food with the wet or you could get some of the doggy gravy and putting that on the food(it comes in what looks like a dressing bottle & is flavored, some have vitamins). Don't let her have anything but her dog food, and don't keep hand feeding her, she should eventually get hungry enough to eat the dry food, if she doesn't then bring her to the vet to make sure nothing is wrong.

My chihuahua also always eats or tires to eat everything off the ground. Just yell no whenever she does it, eventually she might get the point. Make sure she has been dewormed and you bring her for check-ups and watch for any throwing up in case she gets sick from something she eats.

I have a two year old Chihuahua. She has been that way since she was four months old. I guess it's just in the breed. She is a very picky eater and will not eat ANY dog food. I have had to be stubborn like her and not give her anything but dog food. She will eventually eat it when she gets hungry. These babies of ours are very stubborn and will only do what they want. The good news, these dogs are very loyal. The will love you and then give you more love. If you can be as stubborn as she is, she will eventually eat her own food. Trust me, I have been there and still continue to go through this food process with her. One caution, be careful with what you give her. Sometimes Chihuahuas have very sensitive stomachs.

I have 2 Chi's and they are very picky eaters. I had a hard time finding food that they would eat, and I tried a lot of different brands. I finally found Chicken Soup, and they love it. You could also put a little chicken or beef broth over their food, and see if that will help. Good Luck.

I have two chi-chi's. A two-year old and a three-month old. The older one is VERY hard to please when it comes to dog food. However, she will eat almost anything that I eat. I'm not sure what my puppy will be like. Right now, he eats anything. Leaves, dog food, table scraps, toilet paper, socks. All I can tell you is keep trying to feed your puppy. Maybe put water in his dog food and let it get soggy. My puppy likes that. Perhaps you should try another brand of food?

many years in the past the Kirby's had metallic factors (heavy gadget) and they'd high quality. because then, Kirby tried to make the gadget 'a lot less complicated to regulate' and construct them more cost-effective. I not in any respect cherished them. Rainbow is an outstanding high quality gadget. I surely have an Electrolux it quite is now about 30 years old and continuously had good success with it. Now that i'm older & wiser; put in 'timber' laminate flooring and ceramic tiles with throw rugs. a lot a lot less complicated to sparkling and little or no hypersensitivity complications.

put down her food in the morning at whatever time you want her to think is breakfast time. if she doesn't eat it with in 15 minutes or so (you can wait longer depending on your schedule) pick it back up. Don't give her any treats or people food, then put the food backk down at her dinner time, give her the 15 minutes again and so on. eventually she will be hungry and will eat it on her own.

another thing to try is to take her for a walk or give her lots of excercise till she's tired then see if she'll eat. dogs tend to work for their food.

hope this helps! :)
