First of all I'm glad you refuse to meet women in a bar. So good for you. Secondly you can meet women anywhere, just be yourself, some woman will realize what a great person you are.

First, look in your local paper for events. Think about what kind of girl you want to meet. Look for group activities, bike clubs, book clubs, anything that is interesting to you and the kind of person you want to be around.
Second, go to it once or twice and try and make some friends.

The mall, the beach, parks, Starbucks, through family friends, dating websites, the grocery store, universities, local colleges, join a sport, join a bowling league, take up some cooking classes, let your family set you up on blind dates, buy a dog and take the dog for long walks, babysit a family member and take the baby to the park - you'll get all kinds of women coming up to you ... my friends loved holding my daughter when we went out they use to get tons of chicks coming up to them ... telling him how cute the baby was ... worked every time ... lol ... anyway just get yourself out there ... women are everywhere ... !

Next, think of what enviroment she can be found.
Try a book store like Borders or a quiet cafe. No matter what, remember that everything happens for a reason and you will meet where ever when the time is meant for it!

There are so many other things in life like computer games, Chinese food, DVD's, nature, clouds, cars, Formula One, NASCAR, TV's, gadgets, technology, sleep and the list goes on and on.

Church is a great places, so many have single groups. They plan different activities and it creates a great atmosphere to meet someone. There is also on line dating, eharmony etc....
