About 7 months ago I met this great girl online, and I was nervous to meet her because of others opinions of me. She got fed up, and said last week that she had to let go and doesn't want to talk again as it hurts too much. Anyway, we're talking again now...and she's puzzled about where we are now and how she feels, she says she can't meet me at the moment because she tried to supress her feelings. She always said she wanted someone special and not predictable to walk into her life. So, I had the idea of sending a Valentines gift to her workplace, I know she works in a nursing home, and which city....I just dont know which home. If I track down where she works, and send a gift to her...not just for Valentines but just to let her I know Im thinking about her...would you appreciate that?...probably better if women answer this lol

I wouldn't send something if she doesn't want to have anything to do with you. My ex-boyfriend sent me a dozen roses once and I wasn't moved by the gesture at all. I was so p*ssed I threw the flowers away immediately. He shouldn't have wasted his money on a b*tch like me. And you shouldn't waste your money on a b*tch like her.

You either want to be with her or you don't. I would guess that she is unsure of what you want from her, especially if you've never met in person. If you want a relationship you have better do something about it or move on. The best gift to give her would be you meeting her. Your going through all this to find out where she works, why not be there to give her the flowers, only then will it give her heart a flutter.

Yes, if it's not too big or fancy. Send some roses and a nice card, and that should be enough. But this is an online relationship, and those are the ones you particularly should watch closely because you aren't seeing the real person (it's like that even when dating, but moreso cuz it's easier to lie on a keyboard than in someone's face). i think she is hiding something.....what does that mean she cant meet you because she was trying to repress her feelings (what a line)...you can send her a gift, i know i love surprizes and a unexpected gift is sooo fun ...but dont expect it to make a big difference in the relationship.are you over whatever it was that kept you from meeting her in the past ? do you live close? if so why not just show up with flowers in person?

i would really appreciate that! it sounds like a very heart felt idea ... but why wouldnt you just ask her what nursing home she works at ... i dont think she will click into what your doing ... but remember to send her something to let her know that you still care and that you want to meet her ... send her a card and write something inside that is very sweet ... and let her know that you want to meet her ... and when she is ready to let you know!

you dont wanna be predictable... then don't send it on valentines day. Send her flowers on a day she's least expect it, that would really hit the spot
