The 1st Resurrection started when Jesus Christ raised from the dead and ends before His Millinium Reign (when those redeemed by His blood are resurrected). There is no threat of the 2nd death any more (for those redeemed).

The next Resurrection is at the Great White Throne Judgment, where everyone else of the dead stand before God; and all are judged according to their works. Thoses whose names aren't found in the books of life are thrown into the lake of fire, the 2nd death.

The members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day are blessed to come forth in the morning of the first resurrection. This does not mean that all members will and that all non-members won't. Those who were valiant in their testimony of Christ while in this life will come forth in the first resurrection. Those members who are not valiant will come forth in the second resurrection, while those non-members who are valiant will come forth in the first resurrection to live with Christ in His Millennial reign.

There is also a common misconception among Christians that all who die are resurrected as they are received into heaven. In reality, for all but the very elect, the resurrection will take place at the time of Christ's second coming.

www gave an extremely good answer. I ditto what he said.
Also, in my Patriarchal Blessing (which is basically a blessing we receive which is sort of a "map" for our life - if we live worthily to receive the promises made in the blessing) it states that I will have the opportunity to come forth in the first resurrection there to meet my Maker and partake of eternal blessings and receive of my "mansion on high"..which of course I believe is referring to eternal life in the Celestial Kingdom. The blessing sometimes reveals our lineage, blessings we can receive, talks about future events (no it didn't tell me who I would marry, just that I would have the opportunity to be sealed to my husband for eternity)...they are very special and a person must be worthy to receive one from the stake Patriarch who is called of God.
anyways, sorry to get on a different tangent there...
