i have always wondered what keeps a man interested in a relationship? is sex an important part?

For most men, and I really mean men and healthy, sex is the most important aspect of relationship. If its good then, as far as he is concerned, everything else is good, and if its bad then almost everything else is equally bad. As simple as that.
To keep the man interested, therefore, maintain his appetite for it, by adding spices and excitement to it.
If you do that then he is your baby! Would love you to death!

Depends on the man really. Everyone's different.
Sex is a part, how important it is is individual to every relationship. Some people have no sex before marriage right, how do you think they cope? Me, I probably couldn't for too long.
I think the main thing most people look for in mature relationships is support. There's nothing better than getting home to find someone who's happy to see you and is willing to put up with your crap. Of course you have to put up with theirs but that's all part of the deal.

With young men yes it can be all about sex unfortunately
Women tend on average to mature quicker.
That's why at a certain point in their life women favour experience,maturity.honesty in men after 40.

You can bet your bottom dollar that sex is an important part. Especially anal sex if you are young, beautiful, and have a shapely butt. Oral sex is always a must. You should also pay the tab at the end of the night from time to time so he knows that you appreciate him. I always seemed to pick up the tab earlier in my life and that is where I went wrong with the women I was seeing. Now I make sure that they pay the expenses frequently and it keeps me coming back to them. Bottom line...(no pun intended)pay the tab oral sex and then anal sex. That seems to be the equation that works for me to keep interested in a woman.

not just sex but the kind of sex...
ie when you met in teen years it was all exciting and naughty and making out in
golf clubs, cars, groping in cinemas, in nightclubs, being naughty and having fun...
Whn married... its the regualtion missionary position and wearing proper suits, being bring as hell and wiorries about proper behavour and no public deisplays of affection...
Solution... DONT grow up... keep acting like teenagers...
And keep having fun, skinny dipping, flashing panites or lack of on busses, tickling, bungee jumping, paintball, surfing, snowboarding etc.
Except when necessary ie somones had an accident

That depends.What will always hold a man down is the respect and courtesy his partner shows him and yes unfortunately sex is a very large part.There is a saying in Spanish that basically means....you have to carry yourself as a lady always but in the bedroom you have to be as a whore.This basically means that you have to respect yourself in public and when the door shuts behind you and your lover/husband it is o.k. to go crazy in bed.The same holds true for the man.He has to be a gentleman when dealing with you,but he has to be an animal in bed and learn how to please you.

Depends on the guy, sex is important but it shouldn't be the main reason to keep him interested, for me it has a lot to do with her personality and she keeps me wanting to know more about her.

Sex is a significant part of a relationship when you are younger...but as you get older having an understanding, loving companion can be more than just sex.

honestly? sex is very important. my advice is buy a vibrator (anne summers online). its such a turn on to use on my gf and to see her use it on herself. we feel like naughty kids when i call her up for some hot vibro action :P (not for use on me i hasten to add!) give it a try! if you suggest it to him, he'll def take notice! i did :D
