i just wondered if there is guys out there that are genuinely sweet? and wheredo i find 1

Yes there are tons! It's just that the nice ones are usually nerdier or not as "cool"-seeming, so we tend to pretend they don't exist, at least not as love interests. Go for a nice, interesting guy, regardless of his looks or how "cool" he is. My mother gave me this advice, saying I would be way happier in relationships, and I am. Even if he's not super foxy, he will become attractive to you as you get to know him. Seriously!

Yes, you may need to change your "hunting grounds" so to speak. And also change your "type" A great book that really opened up my understanding and frustration on this subject is "How to get a date worth keeping" by Dr. Henry Cloud. It's super helpful!!
