If your refund was scheduled for direct deposit today you may have to wait a bit longer. I have been waiting for mine since 1/26 and after checking with the IRS they told me it could take up to the end of this month. If you haven't recieved your money by Wed check back with www.irs.gov where is my refund and more than likely you'll have a reference # and a message saying your refund was delayed. There are a lot of people that are having this problem due to new tax laws that were passed.

Federal only does direct deposits on Fridays (midnight thursday actually), so if your bank processes the ACH transactions overnight or in the morning it would have been there already today.

Go to www.irs.gov and click on where's my refund. It will tellyou there exactly when they are going to deposit it.

Mine also was supposed to be in today, but it isnt. I called the bank to find out what time they do direct deposit and they said in the mornings. So mine wont be there until at least tommorow which sucks because I need the money for bills now.

If your deposit is not showing up this morning, you could call the bank and ask if there is an IRS refund deposit that is "pending". They will tell you that, and most likely when it will post to your account.

Eastern Standard Time (EST) if you live on the east coast. jk. Probably in the middle of the night while you are a sleep - or out partying. That is when most electronic transfers occur.

My Bank (Bank of America) Said that it could show up any time during the day.

I have in years past recieved it later in the day (like aftr 4) (I was using BOA then as well)
It really depends on the bank you use.. I just called them and they said it could show up anytime during the day.

The transfer is automatically programmed and will arrive in your account just after midnight in your time zone. It should be available the same business day.
