No I don't believe they are taking advantage of Christian voters. I think most politicians be they, Republican, democrat, independent, etc. have mostly their own interests at heart.

Yes, all political parties are guilty of things like this. The republicans pull on Christian's moral heart strings by supporting or writing some "Christian moral" laws that they know won't be found constitutional, but it doesn't matter because they can still say they were for that come election time.
Democrats do the exact same thing with women and minorities. We've got a guy right now spouting off about caring for the poor America while he's building his own 27-room mansion.
What we have to be aware of, when it comes to politicians, no matter their party - most are just self-interested. Our founding fathers knew this when they set up our government, now if only all of our voters knew this too...

Of course they were taking advantage of you. Read some of David Kuo's book "Tempting Faith." He was deputy director of the White House Office of Faith-Based and Community Initiatives. Here's a small excerpt:
"He (Bush) wasn't a political leader to them, he was a brother in Christ – precisely what the White House wanted them to believe. What they didn't get to see was what the White House thought of them. For most of the rest of the White House staff, evangelical leaders were people to be tolerated, not people who were truly welcomed. No group was more eye-rolling about Christians than the political affairs shop. They knew "the nuts" were politically invaluable, but that was the extent of their usefulness. Sadly, the political affairs folks complained most often and most loudly about how boorish many politically involved Christians were."
What did they do about abortion? For one, they stacked the Supreme Court. That action will certainly come back to bite us in the a**.

Also how can the GOP claim to be pro-life when Bush lied to start a war which has resulted in the deaths of way too many people? Bush is no kind of Christian. He says he is so people will vote for him because he knows that there are many Christians in America.

The Republican party is actually taking advantage, as always, of rich Christian impresarios and their sheep. Like those that Pat Robinson controls.

Lol how do you think Bush got re-elected?
They put anti-gay voter legislation on the presidential ballots in key states in order to draw out the religious right..thus, insuring that he'd stay in office. Of COURSE they take advantage of the christian voters.. Unfortunately, those of us who pay attention to the issues, and care what happens are the ones who also have to pay for their ignorance.

Bahahaha. needless to say you do no longer understand the contradictions and competing ideology of the particularly some sects/denominations of the Christian faith..... all 38,000 of them. enable us to overlook relating to the certainty that the yank government is secular. we'd be a Theocracy if we based our government on faith. learn: Iran, Saudi Arabia, eu dark a protracted time. Your criticisms (interior the video) incorporate: comparable-intercourse marriages, loose-business enterprise, low taxes, evolution, and so on and so on as all contradictory of the Bible and the be attentive to god. And yet you're making no point out that united states of america made slavery unlawful. And yet God completely helps slavery interior the Bible. You being a black guy, i discover this fairly ironic. enable us to no longer incorporate each and all the intercourse-slavery, rape, mass homicide, and baby killing god helps interior the Bible. could we legalize those too? there's a reason united states of america doesnt base its government on Christianity.

Anyone who is that high up in politics cannot be a christian. In order to be even selected to run for president, you have to be approved by the illuminists and they are a very dark organization. Look it up. It's all there.
