Yes it doe's. Any time someone adds another person as an authorized user it appears on their credit. I know because I have been on my mom's discover card for over 15-years and I check my credit every 6-months.
This can be a blessing or a curse depending on how the account is paid.

Brian G is incorrect.
While in theory, it should not-- you do not have any legal responsibility for the debt-- it does, most of the time. If its a bad thing, you can dispute it and should be able to get it removed.
But most of the time it can be good-- if someone adds you to a card they've had for 5 years and made good payments on, you get an instant account with good history.
I added my husband to 2 cards and both show on his report. Both boosted his score becuase i saw it before and after.

No. The original cardholder signed the agreement and is responsible for the payments, not you. They have only authorized the card company to accept charges that you have made. If the original cardholder is your spouse, then it may show up on your credit report, depending on state laws, even if you are not an authorized user.

Yes, but if they end up not paying, it falls on their responsibility, not yours.
