As far as I can remember and from what I have heard from various sources I have come to the conclusion that they are. Can any provide proof that they are and if they are not can you prove that?

They are not tax exempt. Tax exempt status is for churches and its clergy and charitable organizations. Just being of the Jewish faith does not make you a Rabbi.

They are not tax exempt. that is a totally false statement.
Only Charitable Organizations, Churches and Synagods are exempt

You have a flawed premise. Jewish people, as a group, are not tax exempt. I certainly hope you are not trying to use this forum to fuel anti-Semitism. Please consult the website below to learn about tax-exempt groups.
