i don't like giving out roses... for me... roses don't mean love anymore... but it means that whoever is giving them is sorry for something they have done... so i was wondering if anybody has any flower suggestions for me instead of roses =D

find out her favorite flower or color and start there.
Carnations are pretty
Wild Flowers are always accepted
Orchids are usually used for a funeral so be careful with those
Gerber Daisies (if not chosen or arranged correctly) can look cheap
I suggest you go to a flower shop and look around there are several options and one might jump out at you
I you prefer you always take a different route other then flowers
chocolate ( the good stuff)
Teddy bear
Lingerie(Depends on age, relationship, and length of relation ship)

I don't know any names of flowers for you but find some flower that no one else is buying and get them...i agree with the sorry thing for the roses, but a lot of girls expect them...so get her one and then some other flowers to.

If you are giving them to someone, find out what their favorite flowers are. I know if a guy gave me sunflower(s) I would be overjoyed. They are beautiful bright and sunny and my favorite flower, and if a guy brought that to me, I would know he cared
Or a single rose can mean a lot. Not just an i'm sorry.

Buy some Tulips, Freesia, Gladiolas, Gerber Daisy's or a beautiful live Orchid plant that she'll enjoy through out the year.

Depends on the gal; do you know what kind she favors? And I disagree with the carnation assumption. The most beautiful flowers I ever got was a GINORMOUS bouquet of pale pink carnations from my husband. And they last forever.

Tulips are nice. Lillies are too. Daisy just make you smile! Sorry I'm done quoting a movie. But seriously they are good choices.
PS never go with carnations!

Get a mixed bouquet with lilies in it. The lilies smell so good and the different shapes and colors of the bouquet is interesting.

White daisies are nice or if you want something bigger go with Gerber or Shasta daisies. They come in all sorts of colors and really make a nice bouquet.
