Today in the news is a story about people getting killed or injured in protests going on in the Holy Land, specifically between Jews and Muslims. the Israelis are performing a construction project near the Temple Mount, and the Muslims (naturally) think they are trying to undermine Islam and destroy something or another... So, they are protesting and fighting each other...

All this got me thinking - WHERE ARE THE CHRISTIANS? throughout many centuries, Christendom fought many crusades to the Holy Land, the birth place of Jesus, and the area where he was allegedly crucified... I beleive it was the Knights Templar who last controlled the area before losing it to Muslim invaders in the 14th Century.... (I could be wrong...Was the Children's Crusade after this date?)

Why is Christendom not fighting for the Holy Land any longer??

In God's eyes, there is nothing special about what we call the 'holy' land.
These days, its just another place.

Most of the Christians who used to reside in the Holy Land in recent decades have been killed or driven out by muslims. 10-15 years ago, Bethlehem was predominantly Christian. Now, as it is almost entirely under PA control (except for Rachel's Tomb), only a small contingent remains who try to preserve the holy sites in the city (primarly the Church of the Nativity...which was sacked by palestinian mobs a few years ago).

There is also the current ethnic cleansing of Christians going on in Lebanon.

As the world pressures Israel to give back more and more territory, it is the Christians who are losing first, then the Jews...the only ones who gain are the muslims.

May the world quickly awaken to the tragedy and atrocities being perpetrated by Islam in the Holy Land.

If you can direct me to the words in the Bible that direct me, or anyone to designate a part of the earth as a Christian Holy Land, maybe I'll do something.
It is up to you HERO!
Point being, just because apostate Christians arbitrarily decide to conduct the 'crusades' does not mean that these ventures were backed by God, Jesus, or the Bible.

Where in the teachings of Christ did you decide Christians are to make war with anyone?
