Don't set goals for yourself that are unattainable (losing 40 pounds by April 1, for example). In my experience, Weight Watchers is a great way to go. It teaches you healthy eating habits and I have experienced steady weight loss (usually 0.5 to 2 pounds a week). This is what's considered healthy.

the water diet. you drink 8 ounces of water before a meal, 8 ounces during the meal, and 8 ounces after the meal. This way, you fill up on water and not so much food. Your boyd also gets the required amount of water it needs to be healthy. I do this diet, and it keeps me fit for my gymnastics. You may think that i am nuts the first time you try it, (i thought the person who told me to do this was because i felt sick drinking that much water at one time)but your body becomes so dependent on the water that i cannot go around without taking a bottle of water with me. Hope i helped, and i hope you reach your goal!

if you dnt like plain water, at a Crystal Light package to the water bottle. There are no carbs and no sugar. that way, the water will taste better

Well first of all you should go on some kind of diet of some kind, Next make sure its not one of those dumb diets where you don't eat bread or meat. That is not the way to go. For breakfast you should eat bacon and toast with eggs, but only have one egg one slice of toast and 2 slices of bacon. For lunch what do you eat? You should eat a sandwich and for dinner? well , First I need to know what exactly you eat and stuff then I can help you. But, to lose weight you should do some form of exercising . like taking a dance class or aerobics.:)

I'm not sure about 40 pounds..but #1, you need to be sure and eat a healthy breakfast each morning..It gets your metabolism going. #2, Try not to eat fried foods..especially from a fast food restaurant. #3, forget the soft drinks..even diet, they're bad for you..But if you absolutely have to have one, drink sprite. #4 Exercise..Try walking, sit-ups, etc...
I hope this helps you!..I've tried it for about 2 weeks now and lost about 5-10 pounds..so good luck! :D
