Women are ten times more emotional then men when it comes to love. She found romance in you and is expressing it.

I actually met my husband online and within a few weeks he told me he loved me over the phone, before we met. I responded by saying, "As a person, I love you. But I'm not going to tell you I'm in love with you until I feel that way."

He respected that, and when the time was right I told him I was in love with him.

She loves the thought of you! Woman get caught up in their emotions. In an on line relationship, even though you may be being yourself, with out you in her everyday life, she has created the person that she wants you to be. You talk to her and most importantly listen to her. Men in real life relationships don't always listen to girls or their feelings. So it sounds like she is in love with the possibility of you or the fantasy of you. Do you have feelings for her too? If you do, meet her. You never know. I have known some people who's marriages started on line. But the most important thing is to be honest with her. Don't tell her you love her back if you don't. If it bothers you, talk to her about it. I would rather have a guy not say it back then to say it and lie.
Good Luck!

This may not make sense, but I think she is wanting and trying to love you. Until you spend time with another person, it is impossible to know if you are attracted to all facets of that person's personality. Chatting and phone calls and poems are stepping stones to what could... or could not be... a true love affair. however, you won't know until you meet and spend much time together.

I think you might want to find out a little more about her before you start to get illusions. Most woman are serious when they say that however there is also the i love you as in friend type.

generaly when i say i love you to a guy (which has only been one) i mean it with all of my heart..its possible to love some one youve never met before, thats kinda how it happened for me and my ex....we met once then talked on the phone nonstop...maybe you should talk to her about how you feel...b/c it sounds like your not returning the feelings and if not you should tell sooner rather then later so that you wont hurt her feelings any worse then they will be.

It is not possible to be in love with someone you have only "chatted" with over the phone.

I'm sure she is being serious when she says it....but she may be the type of person who says it a little too flippantly.
My advice would be to wait and see how things go, I wouldn't just repeat 'I love you' back.

I think she thinks that she loves you. Because she thinks that, is where it is supposed to be going. Maybe she does, but I don't think its like love because she hasn't met you. You may have peaked her intrest. Or maybeshe thinks she had to say it to keep talking to you, so that you wouldnt loose intrest.
