I'm getting over a crush on a guy at work since he turned out to be a jerk. The only thing is that I want to keep feeling this way. He keeps playing games with me. We're supposed to be ignoring each other, which he last suggested, but he keeps glancing over in my area.

he is doing it to play you and mess with you more and your letting it affect you... let him glance at you and glance right back, but make it clear that you dont care about him anymore, go on dates, get your guy friends to come and visit and flirt in front of him...
he is just trying to keep you on the hook till he finds another girl to keep himself busy with

He's a jerk! Nothing worse than a guy who rubs it in your face. He wants you to be bothered, which is why he keeps sending you mixed signals. He's so insecure he needs to know that even after he told you to put him on ignore, he's trying to bait you up to act crazy. Don't give him the satisfaction, some jerks thrive on that. My suggestion is to roll your eyes at him when he looks at you, and get back to work. Don't speak to him unless it's absolutely necessary. Also it wouldn't hurt to strike up a conversation with other people in the office, that way you regroup your energy where it's more positive.
