If your dog shows signs of fatigue and starts to gain weight she might be pregnant. Typically gestation lasts about 8 weeks. It might be a good idea to have a vet check her out for a little pre-natal care.
Please don't take what some of the others have said about responsible pet ownership too much to heart. If you can care for the pups until you find them good homes you're good. (I am personally opposed to preventively wiping out the species myself.)
Prepare a place in your home that is just hers. We always cleaned out the hall closet for my dog and put her favorite blanket down for her. When she's ready to deliver she will whine and pant--and she may need a little help. Stay on hand through the delivery (I've seen as many as 15 pups in one litter although it's usually about a half dozen) and if she seems to be struggling let her push her foot against your hand.
She'll pretty much take it from there. Don't handle the pups too much until she's had her turn with them. Make sure she doesn't try to kill one if she's had too big of a litter. Finally, be prepared for protective mother personality changes, particularly if you have small children.

It takes 60 - 63 days for a dog to have her puppies. Was she in heat when she got out. It will be hard to tell this early my dog didn't show until she was just about to give birth. Some show early some don't. Towards the end you will noticing her nesting as they call it. Just keep an eye on her there is nothing you can do about it now except to wait. You could take her to the vet to see if they could tell you but my advice to you would to just wait it out. To all you people that are yelling at her because her dog got out..Things like that do happen. It is not the first time something like that has happen and it sure won't be the last. Good luck with your dog and her puppies if she is having them.

Get your dog SPAYED. The vet can still do it regardless if the dog is pregnant or not. Be a responsible pet owner!
There are THOUSANDS of dogs that need homes and HUNDREDS that are put to sleep every day.
Don't add to the problem.

Even if she got out, which may not be your fault, you didn't spay her and that IS your fault. Take her to the vet if you need to know for sure, how can we tell you she's pregnant without seeing her? I swear some people shouldn't be allowed to own dogs.

Dogs carry pups around 4 months. My dog had pups last year. This website was very helpful. Hopefully you won't have an emergency like we did. Try to estimate when the pups were concieved. Count 4 months from that and that is her due date. Be prepared anywhere around that time. She could have them in 6 it just depends on the dog. Have a vet's number on hand. I hope all goes well! My dog's water broke and then we thought it broke again, but it was actually a pups sack. The first pup was stuck in the birth canal for 3 and a half hours, and he still lived!!!

It takes @ 60 days or so for delivery after a dog gets pregnant during a normal cycle. CALL YOUR VET instead of posting here if you are concerned about your dog. Please!

average gestation for a dog i believe is 90 days. feel her belly if it is firm then chances are that she is pregnant. you may be able to feel puppies at this point. check for movement if you think you do.

I sincerely doubt your dog is delivering that quickly if she just got pregnant last month.
She'll be 'nesting' if she is close to delivering. She'll also be whining, and her sides will be violently contracting. She may also pace. She'll also lick herself quite a bit and... well. It's messy.
=) Good luck and I hope your girl does alright.

How to tell??????????? Well, did you leave an unaltered dog loose while it was in heat??????? Duh!!!!! Take the dog to the vet and get it fixed asap. At the very least have the dog fixed after it has the pups. Be responsible for a change and make sure the pups get a better home than the mother has!
