Does every faith claim to be THE only true path?
If all faiths said that they were one way, but not the only way, would religious wars (of all kinds) decrease?

The reality is that there are no religious wars. You simply have greedy bastards like Bin Laden who want land, power and money and manipulate the rubes with god talk. Read his screed on the Al Qaeda web sites. He bitches a lot about the Saudi government not paying "great merchants and contractors" for all the refurbishing of Mecca. Where it says "great merchants and contractors" read "Bin Laden Construction." He rants a lot about taking the infidels money and property. He's a bandit who just happens to have some megalomania going as well, such that he wants power more than money.

That depends upon which religion one follows. If his / her religion is not the only true path, why should he / her follow it. You try uniting them (the religions) and you will find the truth

Budhists and Hindus are very tollerent and teach to respect all religions. Different paths that lead to the same goal.

Islam is more tolerant of other religions. Islam is the religion of ALLAH. ALLAH chose Islam as mankind's religion. It was not made by man nor was it founded by Prophet Muhammed(PBUH*). Rather all the prophets from Adam to Muhammed(PBUT*) were sent by ALLAH to show Islam to their people and taught to worship their creator which is ALLAH.

Claiming that only one answer can be true for EVERYONE is sheer ignorance and arrogance. Not everybody is the same in anything, not learning, not temper, not the same in needs... so no one answer can be right for everyone. It's illogical.
