Yes, definitely. I was fine after two days and was drinking coffee. I am in my 30's and just got mine out this past fall. Everyone was shocked to see how fast I recovered. I even had another tooth pulled a week later. You'll be fine. Just stay away from sharp foods (ie: chips, crunchy vegetables, anything that can "poke" or require lots of chewing). Otherwise you'll be just fine.

Absolutely, if you had a "simple extraction" with no complications. You should be able to return to your normal diet with the exception of hard crunchy or sharp foods like tortilla chips, potato chips and such that could cause trauma to the extraction site. The clot is firm in the socket by now so you won't be able to dislodge it by eating or drinking. Continue with Advil or Motrin and all medications prescribed, warm salt water rinses and exercise the jaw by stretching open and closed, a little wider each time. This will help you to regain the full function of your jaw muscle that was stretched during the extraction procedure causing much of your soreness.
If it was other than a "simple" extraction you should follow all instructions given by your dentist because he knows the extent of trauma or difficulty of the extraction and the extra time needed for healing to take place.
So add regular foods back into your diet using caution, continue with Med's, warm salt water rinses and exercises to regain function in your jaw. Hope I've been of some help and enjoy your coffee!

Yes. You will be over the pain and feeling normal again. Dry socket normally occurs 2-3 days after surgery

I would say wait another 4 to 5 fays and if you CNN you should cut down on the coffee consumed.
its not rally the best thing and a nice veggie drink or juice is a lot better for you longer life.

Yes. The reason you are not suppose to drink hot drinks or smoke is that it can affect the clot that is forming to close the wound. You should be fine now.

yes have whatever you want, but be careful...food likes to get stuck in the hole that's left. Keep brushing and rinsing everytime you eat or drink

Follow whatever the dentist said. If you can't remember then call the clinic you had it done at and ask them.
