It appears to be a topical herpes treatment sold primarily outside the United States (most pages returned were from Mexico and Europe).

Viru Merz Serol serves the skin and half mucous membranes for the treatment of the initial features of Herpes simplex infections. These express themselves in Kribbeln, stinging, itching, tension and pain feeling, swelling. Viru Merz Serol:prevents the training of a floriden Herpes, reduces the characteristic complaints: Pain, burning and itching and shortens the illness duration. I don't know for certain if it is available in the U.S.
