The date of the Resurrection (Easter Sunday) is accurate.
The Last Supper was a Seder meal, always celebrated at Passover.
The date of Jesus birth is unknown. The Winter Solstice was chosen in order to make a universally celebrated holiday a holy holiday. (Sort of a "Take Back The Night" idea.)
We know for sure that it wasn't December 25th because it would have been too cold in Bethlehem at that time of year for the shepherds to be tending their flocks by night.
Other dates have been proposed, but all are speculation.

In the early days of the Roman Catholic Church, there was an attempt to make Christianity appear mainstream.
Up until this time, Christianity was prohibited in Rome, and Constantine wanted to make it legitimate and acceptable.
Had he chosen to scrap all the old traditions and stick purely with Christianity, the R.C.C. would have been under siege by other Romans.
I don't have any way of knowing when Jesus was born. It is believed to be in the early fall, but it does not matter to me.
All that is important is an opportunity to take one day and honor his birthday just like we do presidents and other notables.

August 24th- 27th....I read an article that stated a convergence of two planets occurred on or around that date that created an extremely bright light in the sky like a large star and would have been most prominent over the Middle East. It also stated that Ceasar would not have approved a census in a country ripe to rebel like Judea in winter he would have done it as soon as the harvest was ended when it was more practical.
I've not found the article online yet i read it in a Mysteries of the Bible type book.

What we know for certain is that Jesus was probably born in the spring. One of the reasons we know this is that shepherds did not take their flocks out into the countryside fields and watch them at night during the winter. Israel, being in the Northern Hemisphere, has winter during December.
No, they would have been watching their flocks in the spring. But December is as good a time as any to celebrate I guess.

No we don't. But it is not really important. We are not commanded to celebrate either holiday but we do it to praise God.
