According to your faith, can Satan influence the events of humans? Can he make people do things? Can he cause tragic events like bombings or hurricanes?

This is what I think:

After Jesus returned to Planet H (Heaven), the COG (Council of Government) in Heaven voted to take away Satan's physical power. Now, he only has the ability to whisper in your ear, by mental telepathy, of course.

To keep things even between God and Satan, so that you would have free will to choose harmony or disharmony, God also agreed to no longer use his physical powers. So God, also, now, has only the ability to whisper in your, of course, again, by mental telepathy.

I don't believe any Church agrees with me about that, It's just what I think.

Great question! Many believe he's the current ruler of the earth, which would explain why all governments are corrupt. If given any credit for the media, then the events of humans are definitely being influenced, which could in turn cause bad things like bombings. BUT, can he MAKE people do things? Hmmm... I would say yes, but only if they've given him permission to take them over. There, that's my answer.

In the temptations of Jesus, Satan took Jesus up on a high mountain and showed him all kingdoms of the earth and stated that he would give Jesus power here if Jesus would just worship him. Satan has been given All power on earth! That's according to the Bible. God, the Father has a time set for Jesus to come back and rule and reign on the earth as "New Jerusalem" after the judging of the world.

Mankind has free will. Satan can influence events, but he can't "force" anyone to do anything. Man causes the tragic events like bombings himself. Hurricanes are just part of nature.

First you must believe that there is a satan. If you do, then whatever power this entity may or may not have is solely in the hands of the believer. In short, the only power satan has on earth is the power you give him.

I'm an athiest. I think Satan is an illusion of the evil that exists in all people.

I think the power of good and bad is not magic, but instead has to do with how we treat each other.

He has quite a bit of power, but not over the elements. He really doesn't have power over use either, but he will attack our weaknesses in order to accomplish his designs. Ultimately we are the ones who makes the final choices of our actions. We can be influenced for good or influenced for evil. It all depends on which voice you choose to listen to.

Satan doesn't have the power to make people do anything. He serves as God's prosecuting attorney in judgment. If satan's power could be greater than God's, then there would be 4 gods instead of the trinity.

He cannot force anything people to do anything. He can convince some to do some pretty horrible things. Can he cause bombings? Yes, if he is able to convince someone to do it. He cannot force them, it is their own decision to do it. But he can be pretty convincing sometimes, as evidenced by just watching the news and seeing all the horrible things that happen everywhere.
