I know exactly what you mean I have dark circles under my eyes too. It's hereditary (deep set eyes) and there are ways of hiding but not removing the dark circles. Use either a yellow tint or slightly lighter than your natural skin tone tinted concealor stick I personally like physicians formula concealor sticks.

Hello, this is a question that is asked many times. And yes those lines are related with the bags. It's all sign that there is something wrong with your body. Getting enough sleep isn't enough. You need to relax more and empty your head. Control stress and exercise more. Regular daily workout will be good for your blood circulation, which your skin needs. You MUST drink enough water daily, you shouldn't wait that you get thirsty and then drink water, it's already a sign of dehydration. You should drink a glass of clear water every 2 hours at least, if you do this every 2 hours it provides your body with necessary liquid that it needs to detoxicate and clear your blood from toxins. Remember, when we don't live healthy (I also have this problem) our skin is the first that shows the signs. Try eatting more fresh vegetables and avoid heavy junk food, eat more fish, becouse you need more Omega 3 and 9 fatty acids which isn't good just for your skin but is awesome for your health.

You can find more helpful information on my website, I'm a professional makeup artist but I'm also an expert in alternative medicine, nutrition and healthy living.

1. sleep is important..
2. so is drinking water... atleast 8 glasses per day (not tap unless it is chlorine free)
3. not drinking alcohol or only small amounts... alcohol is bad news for eyes...
4. not smoking cigarettes... eyes like your lungs hate smoke..
5. stay out of smokey atmospheres.. (passive smoking)
6. having lots of fruit and vegetables in your diet.,, or drink smoothies.... and juices...
7. make sure you get outside in the fresh air everyday... WALK QUICKLY and get your circulation going...
8.breathe properly... amazing how many people don't do this.. fill your lungs with the freshest air possible.. feel your rib cage expand...

if you do all these things and don't see any improvement after a few weeks.. then go and have a check up with your doc...
to rule out anything medical.. but I would think 3 or 4 weeks of the above and your eyes will be sparkling and the circles gone.. or going... your liver will be working better and the dark circles responding...
keep it up as part of your new lifestyle otherwise the circles will return...

I've had the same problem all my life, from when I was about 10 ! The only time the bags and the blueness went away was when I camped out for a week and lived entirely out-doors. When I came back the bags and blueness was completely gone, but came back after a couple of weeks.

This suggests to me that the biggest cause is a combination of too little exercise, all the wrong food, too much TV, too much stress and not enough fresh air. I know it sounds strange, but try it - go camping for a week with your family or friends, live out-doors, sleep under the stars and see what happens.

The dark blue lines are probably just veins that are showing through your skin because the skin under your eyes is so thin. The bags are just puffiness usually from fluid buildup. Try some collagen or retin cream under the eyes and put something cold on them to reduce the puffiness.
