Here are some questions, mainly aimed at christians, but non christians can answer too.

1. When was the last time you prayed to the Lord?
2. When was the last time you gave your church a tithe?
3. When was the last time you cried?
4. When was the last time you hugged or kissed a loved one?
5. When was the last time you admitted you were wrong about something?
6. When was the last time you said you were sorry?
7. When was the last time you smiled or said hi to a stranger?
8. When was the last time you laughed hysterically?
9. When was the last time you answered a question honestly?

--It's not an everyday thing for me but it happens frequently as I read scriptures--

--Almost everyday. Just ask my wife, I am almost always wrong about a lot of things--

--I do have problems with that one. I tend to be a bit shy in public. Something I have to work on--
8. When was the last time you laughed hysterically?
--It's been a while but it does happen on occasion--
9. When was the last time you answered a question honestly?
--I answer all questions in this forum honestly. I try to answer all questions honestly--
10. When was the last time you gave someone your time?
--Constantly. I work with scouts so they get my time at least weekly--

2) I don't tithe to the church, I tithe to the Lord where He points.
3) Two weeks ago, my youngest grandson said 'grandma' for the first time - it brought tears to my eyes.

8) About a month ago, my friend did something really silly. I laugh almost every day though.

What you are really asking is whether or not the fundamentalist Christian can have a normal, fulfilling life while living under and within the construct of the religion itself.

I cannot answer that question because I am Wiccan. But as such, my answer to your question would be, "All the time!" The only change I would make to your list would be...

1. When was the last time you prayed to and worked with the Lord and Lady?

2. When was the last time you helped either physically or with money, your fellow Wiccans - or family members, or friends, or anyone else who needed your financial or physical help?

The rest would be the same. And yes. I am blessed with a full and fulfilling life!!!

2. my church does not do tithing
3. i cried yesterday
4. i hugged my kid about half hour ago and kissed my husband about 10 mins ago
5 & 6. i said i was sorry and i was wrong when i kissed my husband 10 mins ago lol
7. i walked down the road with a stranger today talking all the way
8. i laughed hysterically last night at my silly husband
9. i am answering this question honestly
10. my time is mostly for others
