any scientific reason

Natural reason is reproduction. Our abilities, however, to choose when to have or not to have children marred or glossed over the natural reason and the attraction has turned into the the aim of pleasure and satisfaction. Both man and women are now more active, knowingly or unknowingly, in attracting one another.

We do not need any scientific reason for that.

i think it's mostly for reproduction reasons. You need a man and a woman to have children. Hormones are a part of the initial attraction. I can't remember what they're called but your body gives them them off and each person has a different preference of what hormone they like. I think they're called pheromones(sp).
