An electric gun, like the GAU-8 Avenger Gatling gun on an A10 Warthog anti-tank aircraft, has the action and barrels rotated by an electric motor to fire at a high rate of speed. A semi automatic firearm uses either recoil or vented gas to cycle the action and chamber a round. This happens once, every time you pill the trigger.

Well, the electric gun you will need to plug it into a 110/120 outlet
And a Semi auto, their just big and bulky and are hard to pack around and they usually only carry 10 to 18 rounds...
