It's just that simple.

Does it work? I believe it does, as do many people who have been in ritual with me.

I open myself to communicate with the Divine, just as any other true priest would.

It would be simpler to ask what is a priest. A priest is someone who has studied his religion and has usually (but not always) has been ordained to minister to his people. A pagan priest would be a priest that ministers to pagans. I myself have studied many years and am initiated into the office of High Priest in the Myjestic Tradition

Um, does WHAT really work? A Pagan Priest is someone who is a teacher, who has acheived a certain amount of education, knowledge, and experience and is therefore at a level somewhat above the rest of us in terms of spiritual development. It doesn't mean they're better, they just know more, and can do things like perform handfasting or hand binding ceremonies (marriage).
