I was going to be a christian reverend but many things of chritianity made no sense and at the age of 19 I was aethiest and started living life according to logical instead of god's will.
My gf when we started dating asked me if i was a virgin but I told her it was a controvercial matter I don't want to answer, next time she asked againt and said "if your unconfortable i'll go first I'm a virgin" i still didn't answer. After 2 weeks of asking I finaly cracked and told her it was obvious I was a virgin since I was training to be a reverend all my life and could not commite fornication.
When she found out I was a virgin she was extreamily happy then she told me she was glad is was not "used up and second hand trash" which left me thinking What The F!@#$ !
Then like 4 months later we were getting serious and talking about doing it and confesses she is not a virgin I said "I never cared or asked."
Now her way of thinking worries me because it's archaic(old), should I dump her ?

Please refrain from involving "GOD" or "Morals" in your answers and neighter "purity" and "spirituality" those are archaic ideas that were made by tribesmen in the bronze age !!! The issue is the difference rational and logical thinking.

If your mother died and remarried...do you think her new spouse would consider her second hand trash? would you? does a person actually think that once youve had sex that you are trash and have no more to offer anyone? that you are disposable?
well, anyway, your beliefs might tell you that fornication is a sin but its a natural thing to do for procreation. If you believe in God..He also made in a necessity and to feel good. Whatever your beliefs at this time...being a good human and trying to take care of your body is important. dont know if her way of thinking is completely 'archaic'. some kids dont want a 'toy' once it rips or breaks...they want a 'new toy'. that way of immature thinking
is just that. there are very few things in this world that dont break and are completely pure in mind and body. I guess God is the one and only who can forgive...humans have trouble with this.
God sees the 'big picture' from your conception to your death.
simply put..your gf lied for whatever reasons, then claimed she was 'trash' by her own remark. why? and if you cared so much about the 'purity' of your own body, why wouldnt you care about hers enough to ask? perhaps, you both can learn more about
all of life before one or two things become the only things to care or worry about. peace

Well first of all, it's a little bit of an issue that she lied to you and played games with you.
Secondly, I would look to Christianity in a different light, rather than the one you are raised under. I think deep inside you know the truth, which is more logical than logic of the world.
Thirdly, breaking up with her is your decision. If she doesn't have the same ideals, maybe it's not right. Just tell her how you feel about it.

If you feel you two are ont compatible, no matter what the issues are, then why waste her's and your time? Plus, she lied about being a virgin for some reason. That would have been a red flag for me.

I think you need to stop classifying people into categories.
People are justifiably terrified now of getting venereal diseases that can kill or be lifetime handicaps (AIDS, herpes, hepatitis, syphillis, etc.).
Most of all, stop treating people and women as THINGS. Even Atheists can have morals and feelings and sympathy.

she may not be for you, if she lied to you. i think thats a problem. you have a strong sense of mind, she couldnt otherwise she wouldnt have lied to you, move on.
