I'm a theist (pagan)..
According to the catholic encyclopdia:
The word humility signifies lowliness or submissiveness an it is derived from the Latin humilitas or, as St. Thomas says, from humus, i.e. the earth which is beneath us. As applied to persons and things it means that which is abject, ignoble, or of poor condition, as we ordinarily say, not worth much.
So, I'd have to pass on humility, thanks.

The basic rules of humility:
Is you thinks you is, you probably ain't.
Is you thinks you ain't, you probably is.
I can't judge my own level of humility without falling into the trap of pride about how humble I am. Pure Catch-22.

Oh yes! I don't take offense and I don't offend anymore. I once had great pride and it was stripped away slowly. I was very bitter for years and forgave someone and understood what loving my enemy entails. I've learned to pray for those who persecute me because of my belief in Jesus Christ. This took years but whatever the Holy Spirit starts in us He is more than able to finish it. One day He will have me ready to stand before Jesus in the image of Jesus Christ. I Praise His Holy Name for This!
