You're frustreated because you can't make other people believe what youbelieve? But you critisize Christians for the same thing. You're a hypocrit.

It is entirely possible that all of these things are true. To your question... am I biased? Yes. I have a faith system that is intertwined with the daily workings of my life... some of your list is a little harsh, as if you are trying to push someone to yell at you or are trying to be offensive. Mental block, brainwashed, programmed, crazy, stupid, unable to learn.... these are all a bit extreme that anybody from any religion or lack there of can be experiencing. I chose the church, I chose Jesus... I also am not crazy, I also am in college, months away from graduating with my first bachelor's degree,
If I was brainwashed, they could have done a better job... I'm not perfect, but I want to do the right thing...
Stuck in my ways... kinda... I like to make sure that I am on time, if not early, to every service I say I am going to be at. But if I were stuck in my ways, I would be stuck in sin, and no where near as blessed as I am.
I appreciate your question and giving me the chance to share a bit of my life... if you really wanna know what its about, and how your life can be transformed... just find a good bible based church, and sit in a time or two... I've sat in the synagogue, even went to a unitarian/universalist service... just to hear, and see what was truth on the inside of me...

I am really sorry that you feel that way. Why would you want me to change the beliefs I was raised with? I don't bother you--I don't push my beliefs on you.

I am not any of the items 1 through 10 you listed. I simply went to church, Sunday school, confirmation class, and enjoyed learning at them very much.

There is, however, someone who could change my beliefs, and that would be if The Pope, or someone just as high in another denomination of Christianity told the world that they lied about everything.--If that happened, I wonder how many people would think that the high church official was crazy, etc.

why has this site become an argument between beliefs and a forum for people to make unnecessary assumptions and negative comments about people of another faith? Your assumptions are ridiculous. Why would you be swayed from something you wholeheartedly believe in? Think about it like this...would you get married and change spouses because you dont want to be "stuck in ur ways, stubborn, etc.," and that you think that there is something better out there? There is nothing wrong with having a belief and sticking to it, especially if you have faith that your beliefs will lead to much greater than this particular life could ever offer.

What is interesting to me is how you non-christians say we are biased when we refuse to accept your view. Yet Jesus tells us that we should share his word with you and if you chose not to accept then you will realize your fate upon death. We don't want to push our religion on you or anyone else but don't deny our right to worship with that lame excuse of "i'm offended" !! You will discover the truth when your soul is called to judgement it is not up to me to judge your beliefs.

I'll agree with 4 and 5.

I'm stuck in my ways, because I believe them to be the right ways.

I'm biased because I believe Christianity is the one true path.

Nope. Not biased. Just convinced.

I seen for myself - experienced on my own - the life changing power of Jesus Christ.
