Go for water harvesting systems. Check-dams, in particular have brought tremndous changes in the land mass, both underground and overground. The aquifiers are bone dry in some of the areas of the earth due to over harvesting of rain water. These aquifiers have not been recharged over the years. Recharging this aquifiers with scientific knowledge will help to regenerate the lost water sources. The ground water tabel will improve, moisture will be available and mother earth will be green again. The last one is - keep the politicians out from this areas.

we all shud take a oath plants, plant a minimum of 5-10 plants,water thm n take proper care of thm thn v make our country greenishhhh......
stop overgrazing of animals.
avoid aforestration.
help the farmers so tht thy dont leave agriculture n leave villages.
