djmantx is correct if you seek the truth you are given personal experiences that reassure you and one is stunned in awe that the almighty knows your every thought and deed. This is not a blind faith as it is one born of experience. Jung spoke of some of these occurrences and described them as “Synchronistic events” where a thought in his conscious awareness was made manifest at that moment in the material world. He was once asked in a BBC interview if he believed in God, his reply was “I do not believe, I Know!”

Loosing faith is a necessary part of intellectual growth. Your feeling of loss of faith is rather like realising that you are too old for a comfort blanket, you've lost a comforter but gained intellectual freedom. However, that being said, keep studying and searching but don't try and force you're self into a faith you have out grown. This may be stage in the development of your faith which at some time will return deeper and stronger.
Whichever this isyou are growing and the pain you feel is only a growing pain.

From the moment that you wake up each morning, you already have some kind of faith. You have faith that the sun is going to shine, you have faith that you can get out of bed and walk. And if you are in a plentiful country, you have faith that you will have three good meals today, and the expectation that your school or workplace will be there when you arrive.
This faith is what you hope for but, you have not yet seen.
Faith in Jesus, is belief that He is real and true although, you have not yet physically seen Him.
This is belief that God's word is true and it is the positive acceptance of Jesus Christ as our Lord and Savior and believing that He lives in our hearts and we will see Him when He returns. This is the faith that God is talking about.
Faith comes by hearing the word of God. That is one of the reasons that we need to be connected to other Christians and pastors. Read the Gospels. Pray before you read and ask God to give you wisdom and understanding. He will. God bless.

There are so many good answerers already like BlessingsS or Lana S. I don't know if you are Christian or not but here are some thoughts about your question.
Romans 10:17 So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God. Keep reading God's word and your faith will be renewed. Isaiah 40:31 But they that wait upon the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint.
Just be who you are in Christ. No matter if you feel faith or not. Remember David wrote also of his Psalms when he was discouraged. But he did not lose faith. The same is true of Elijah, and Moses, of Jesus Christ when as a man he felt forsaken by God on the cross and cried "My God My God Why have you forsaken me?"
But even if you are not a Christian this is true also.
As a human being man or woman adult or child, it is normal to feel we have lots of faith or to feel we have none. Faith is not about feelings. Faith is living life no matter what comes and never giving up. Hope is a great companion to faith you can have. But the greatest one is love. And if you can't get love yourself. Give what you have away. And it will come to you.

The only faith that is really valid is faith in ourselves.So-called faith in a 3,000 year old deity is nothing more than having an invisible friend.
Believe that you are a good and valid person and that you have the power to live an honorable and peaceful life and don't use the crutch of so-called faith in god.

Faith comes by hearing and hearing by the Word - get in the Scriptures and commune with God about them. Let Him talk to you through them. This builds Faith. Faith is KNOWING that you can trust the God that stands behind the Word - He never violates His own Word - He is not a liar. Faith is not about "feeling" - many times you don't "feel" faith - you simply, quietly "know."

Initially you get faith as a gift (assuming you are a christian).
But it comes in general from hearing the Word - "Faith comes from hearing, and hearing from the Word of God."
This is because there are 'exceedingly precious promises' in the Word, and there is 'life in the Word'. As you meditate on these promises, and God's character as revealed in Jesus' life, trust grows. Then asking God for things and about things, you find He responds, and so your faith grows. Faith grows as you follow Jesus' instruction to 'Abide in me, and you shall bear much fruit.'
Prayer and Reading the Word. Jesus was frustrated by the disciples little faith on many occasions. It will grow like the mustard seed tree in Mark 4 if you keep sowing the Word.
Your faith can dissipate and go weak if you don't sustain it.
Its possible for life's stresses to so get a person that their interest is totally tied up with those preoccupations. Or they can be so given over to getting the biggest house and best job that they spend virtually all their time on their work. We can also be very impressed by humanly impressive people and information sources around us, and end up taking on board their views without realising that we are, when those views are anti-God.

First remember that faith is the gift of God. If you once had faith, it may be obscured by clouds of doubt and circumstance, but it's still there. Certainly it would be good for you to call a friend who is living by faith, or failing that, even a visit to your local pastor should prove revitalizing. I've been there, many times in my walk with God, and often looking back on those times I see it was His way of reminding me that He is the source of my belief and my hope. We are all parts of one body, the body of Christ, and we need each other. So go find someone to encourage you. God bless.

Faith is given, not taken, but it doesn't hurt to be around people that are faithful. What is the last time you've attended church or joined a group where you can ask these kinds of questions and get the answers you need?
