I pray to the Gods and Goddesses of thethe Ãsir, the Vanir, ancestral spirits such as the Disir, land wights such as the Risir.
In particular I pray to Odin, Frigga,Thor, Freyja, Sif, Forseti, Heimdall, Loki, Saga, Sunna, Syn, Eir, and Skadi. I find Thor to be one of the most approachable though.
I pray for such things as protection, inspiration, honor, courage, success, frith (peace), etc...

My deities are Celtic. The main reason that I pray is to give praise. Only occasionally do I ask for anything---and then I ask for guidance. Generally, my needs are taken care of and I feel that things are the way that they are supposed to be at this moment.

A sample of one of my prayers:
Father in heaven,
Today I was arrogant, gossiped, was upset.
(This is using 1John1:9-to get back in fellowship)
I am thankful Lord for my life, your word, my health, for everything in my life, whether it is good or bad as I know that it is your will.
I pray for the troops in Iraq and Afghanistan.
I pray that they have strength, courage, comfort.
I pray for our President and his advisers Lord.
I pray for the peace of Jerusalem.
I pray for my Pastor.
I pray that my adult children would turn to you and study the Bible.
I pray for my families health.
Thank you for all of my blessings.
I love you Lord.
Thank you for the Holy Spirit and his comfort.
I say these things in the name of Jesus Christ.
