I wonder why that is like that?

Absolutly. I have the same problem. I have realized though through my own dieting that if you don't eat breakfast, you won't lose weight. I used to think that the less you ate..the better. Not true. Your body needs a certain amount of food everyday to run correctly without putting you into starvation mode. There are many websites out there that will tell you based on your age, height, weight, and activity level how many calories your body needs daily just to function. That way you can decide how much exercise and cutting you need to do in order to lose weight. They recommend no less than 1200 calories daily for anybody. And eating breakfast is super important because it jump starts your metabolism for the day. And you are right about getting super hungry between breakfast and lunch. I get that too. You need to eat every 2-3 hours in order to keep your metabolism from slowing down. Plus if you are super hungry then you'll likely have a binge attack at lunch time and eat more than you wanted to. I have found that eating a peice of fruit and a small protein snack (peanut butter, nuts, cheese, my fav..beef jerky) about mid morning will keep you from going nuts at lunch time. And then usually have a mid afternoon snack as well with the same components...sometimes for lunch i'll make a sandwich with meat and cheese, cut it in half, eat half with a bowl of soup for lunch and then eat the other half around 3-4 pm. Just a little something to keep you going until dinner.

That really depends on what you eat for breakfast. If you eat high protein for breakfast that may not happen. But certainly high carbs will drop the glucose level in your blood and that will make you hungry. Skipping breakfast incidently slows your metabolism which can make it harder to maintain or lose weight over time.

if you ever want to meet your fitness goals you will stop skipping meals. eating breakfast excites the metabolism, which is a very good thing. starving yourself from dinner the night before until lunch is doing nothing but causing a loss of muscle proteins and slowing down the metabolism making fat loss even harder...

Yep, me too. I think it's because if you eat in the morning, even if it's something small, your metabolism speeds up which would make you hungry earlier. If you want to lose weight and/or burn calories, eating breakfast is very important.

Actually it is like that because when your body goes into "starvation" mode it eventually stops giving hunger pains. When you eat breakfast it takes you out of that mode and you get hungry at lunch time. so yes it is like that for everyone when you do it regularly

yep. metabolism has boosted or "woken up" yet bc u havent fed it anything. its still in conserve mode from when u were asleep at night. when u feed it in morning it gets everything going. without that it will stay in conserve mode so that its saving energy and food
