Do you think that people who purposely live a sinful life can still go to heaven if they ask for forgiveness in the last seconds of their life? Even though they knew that their lives were sinful? I already know the answer, I just want to hear what you think.

I believe they can.
Jesus told the theif on the cross next to him that he would go to heaven with him because he believed. I'm guessing that his life up to that point had been anything but blameless.

Sin is an outdated concept. Heaven and Hell don't exist.

The idea that you're supposed to blindly follow a list of rules made thousands of years ago is silly. No fixed list of rules covers all circumstances, and the rules that the Bible lists are self-contradictory and mostly bad advice. There is some wisdom there, but that is not in the majority.

Instead, you have to figure out for yourself how you fit into society and how you work with other people to get along. We all have different values, but that doesn't mean we can't get along with each other. Most people, from the most ardent atheist to the most zealous Bible thumper, still have more beliefs in common than different. You won't get along with everybody, but there should be enough in common that we can work most things out.

Instead of just excepting a fixed rule list, use your brain. Think about why an action is good or bad and what the consequences are. Then you'll be more flexible to handle any situation that comes your way. You'll also develop a more consistent character and people around you will work with you more easily.

Sin was taken care of on the cross.
You are saved by believing in the Lord Jesus Christ.
It is not by works of righteousness that we have done but according to His mercy He saved us.
1John1:9 is the way Christians should get back in fellowship daily.
Keep short accounts with God.
Christians who do not follow the plan of God for their lives will not receive all their blessings in time and eternity.
They will go to heaven because they have believed in Jesus.
Peace out.

Anyone can ask. You may not always like the answer you get. If you intentionally leave your repentance to your deathbed, I don't know how sincere that really is. If you deathbed repentance is because you really did not know before then, then that might make a big difference to God.

Only God can truly judge the heart. So it would be up to Him. Personally, I would not want to risk it.

Yes Gym...and in the end of times, even if they have not asked before, they will be given one more chance to accept Jesus as their Savior. This, I do understand is the Biblical stance.

My personal stance, based on my spiritual connection to Christ, is that the love of God is so great for his creation, that no one will go to the place we call "hell".

According to our faith, yes. Unlike man, God is no respecter of person. So, as illogical and unfair as it may seem to us, a person who does "dirt" all his life (and repents and accepts the Lord on his death bed) can get into heaven just as one who has been a faithful servant all of his own life.

You know the answer???? Who are you - God? How can you know who goes to heaven or not? Isn't that called judging others? By the way - there is no heaven.
