The Bible says that there is no god but God. So-called Christians who worship anything but God, including his son, saints, symbols, and the holy spirit are nothing more than polytheists and idolaters. And we know where they'll all end up.

Not all Christians do, but the false teaching of the trinity which was passed down possibly from Babylonian, not Christian thinking, was incorporated into many religions centuries ago. Some say the thinking was adopted at the Council of Nicaea. It did assert that Christ was of the same substance as God, which laid the groundwork for later Trinitarian theology. But it did not establish the Trinity, for at that council there was no mention of the holy spirit as the third person of a triune Godhead.
People hold on to tradition far more than they should and they ignore truth. The Scripture you quoted is one of many that prove the teaching of a trinity as false, but there are only a few that can be used to attempt to prove it as truth. But those few are usually misapplied and ignore the context they are written in. Another that helps to prove the trinity is false is that the Bible says to sin against the holy spirit is an unforgivable sin, yet sinning against the Father, God or Jehovah, or the Son, Jesus, can be forgiven.

Many Christians have an inaccurate view of the Trinity. They claim that God the Father, His son, Jesus Christ, and the Holy Ghost are all the same being.

That makes absolutely no sense whatsoever. For example, when Jesus was baptized, he standing in the river with John the Baptist when a voice from heaven declared Jesus to be His Son. I assume that since Jesus was standing in the water that the voice from Heaven must be God. Then, while still standing in the river, the Holy Ghost descended upon Jesus like a dove. So did Jesus descend upon himself? I don't think so.

Additionally, Jesus kept referring to God as his father, why would he do that if Jesus and God the Father were the same person?

Finally, who was Jesus praying to in the Garden of Gethsemane the night before his arrest? Who was he talking to in John 17?

The true gospel of Jesus Christ is simple and logical. The only logical answer is that God the father and Jesus Christ are two separate beings.

Now, because he followed through with all that God commanded him, we know that we cannot reach God except through Jesus Christ. Jesus is the one who atoned for our sins so it is up to Him to decide who will be allowed to come unto the Father.

You are mixing the actual Day of Judgement which only the Father knows, with the fact that Jesus was not all knowing ! Jesus is part of the Father and therefore should not know less than Him. However, if this one thing is held unto Himself by the Father from the Son, that does not mean everything else too. Your sweeping conclusion is frankly absurd !

Not all Christians believe that Jesus is God. The bible clearly shows that Jehovah is the Almighty God and that Jesus is his only begotten Son. The scripture at Matt. 24: 36 shows this as do the following:

"That nations may know, that you whose name is Jehovah, you alone are the most high over all the earth." Ps. 83: 18

"If you loved me, you would have rejoiced, because I go to the Father; for the Father is greater than I." John 14: 28

" I want you to understand that the head of every man is Christ, the head of a woman is her husband; and the head of Christ is God." 1 Cor. 11: 3

"Although there may be so-called gods in heaven or on earth - as indeed there are many 'gods' and may 'lords' - yet for us there is one God, the Father, from whom are all things and for whom we exist, and one Lord, Jesus Christ, through whom are all things and through whom we exist." 1 Cor. 8: 5 & 6

"Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ." 1 Pet 1: 3

"Jesus said to her: "Stop clinging to me. For I have not yet ascended to the Father. But be on your way to my brothers and say to them, 'I am ascending to my Father, and your Father and to my God and your God." John 20: 17

"Keep this mental attitude in you that was also in Christ Jesus, who, although he was existing in God's form, gave no consideration to a sezure, namely, that he should be equal to God. No, but he emptied himself and took a slave's form and came to be in the likeness of men. More than that, when he found himself in fashion as a man, he humbled himself and became obedient as far as death on a torture stake. For this very reason also God exalted him to a superior postion and kindly gave him the name that is above every other name, so that in the name of Jesus every knee should bend of those in heaven and those on earth and those under the ground, and every tongue should openly acknowledge that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father." Phil 2: 6

"The utterance of Jehovah to my Lord is. "Sit at my right hand. Until I place your enemies as a stool for your feet." Ps. 110: 1

"This means everlasting life, their taking in knowledge of you the only true God, and the one whom you sent forth Jesus Christ."
John 17: 3

If they are teaching such things as this and other things the Bible does NOT teach, then perhaps they should be called by some other name than "Christian."

True Christians know that Jesus is not God, but the Son of God. People saw Jesus, no one has seen God. (John 1:18)

In John 17:3, Jesus spoke of God as someone other than himself.

In is explained in Phillipians 2:5-11. There was a time when Jesus was equal with God the Father in power and position. But he laid that aside and become a servant. After he became a servant, he then took on the form of a man and was obedient to God to the point of death. Because of that, God the Father raised him from the dead and returned him to the position where every knee is to bow to him and every tongue proclaim him Lord.

During the time of his incarnation, (when this statement was made) Jesus was not using his abilities as "God". This includes his knowledge of the entire future. He limited himself for that time to only use the power, abilities and knowledge available to any other human. He had to pray to God the Father for his miracles, He had to be filled with the Holy Spirit. And He only knew the things that God revealed to everyone else. So at the time He spoke, He did not have that knowledge.

The Son is a portion of God. The Father is the main portion of God that knows all and He gives to the Son what is needed for his purpose.

They do that because of the Trinity -- the Trinity was introduced by the Council of Nicea to incorporate the Beliefs of the Greeks (who believed in multiple Gods) and of the Hebrews (who believed in one God) so they would convert to Christianity. Paul later rewrote his teachings to this effect to help combine the two religions (Judaism and Greek beliefs). Jesus called himself the "Son of God." He did not say that He was God.
