Stop expecting perfection from imperfect humans.

Ask God for help in your situation

When I was a teenager, I thought the pastor was infallible and a great source of wisdom. Then I learned better, and I realized I was expecting too much of him, that I couldn't just lean on him for support, because in many ways, he was weaker than I was. Just remember the pastor is human, and listen to the words and advice that helps you the most. This advice can come from friends, parents, coaches, storekeepers, anyone. Just remember to listen to the words and discern the intent and philosophy behind them-- and don't be blinded by the person's position in the church or in any other position of authority. There are many authority figures who abuse their position for personal or financial gain. Be wary but not judgmental.

I don't think you should look up to a pastor too much because they are human and they will make mistakes. Look to Jesus because he lived a perfect human life and made no mistakes.

There is no perfect church on earth, so focus on Christ, not a fallible representative. Forgive your pastor and follow Biblical principals for resolution. He will stand in judgement as will we all.

In Matthew 18:15-18 we read:

If your brother sins, go and show him his fault in private; if he listens to you, you have won your brother. But if he does not listen to you, take one or two more with you, so that BY THE MOUTH OF TWO OR THREE WITNESSES EVERY FACT MAY BE CONFIRMED. If he refuses to listen to them, tell it to the church; and if he refuses to listen even to the church, let him be to you as a Gentile and a tax collector. Truly I say to you, whatever you bind on earth shall have been bound in heaven; and whatever you loose on earth shall have been loosed in heaven.

Remember that he is human. Pray for him.

Then....go find a Church where the "pastor" does not have such power over your life.

Get a grip.

Find a religion where u dun have to ask for divine advise from another human being, the one where u dun have to seek forgiveness & blessing from another human being when he himself sins . :)
