It is similar to the question of the vedanta-sutra(aphorism) which begins with the key inquiry about the Transcendence, atatho brahma-jijnasa: "One should now inquire about Brahman, or the Transcendence, Absolute Truth."

And the answer to that question is "janmady asya yato"
"The origin or cause of everything is the Supreme Brahman."

Brahma the creator of the universe gives further information in the Brahma Samhita, chapter 5, verse 1.
Krishna who is known as Govinda is the Supreme Godhead. He has an eternal blissful spiritual body. He is the origin of all. He has no other origin and He is the prime cause of all causes.

Lord Sri Krishna confirms the above statement by declaring in Bhagavad-gita, chapter 10, verse 8
I am the source of all spiritual and material worlds. Everything emanates from Me. The wise who perfectly know this engage in My devotional service and worship Me with all their hearts.
