I fish for peace of mind, for solace from the work place.
I fish for solitude and quietness, that all I can hear is a gentle breeze.
I fish for areas where there is no cell phone service,
no fast food restaurants, and no traffic.
I find my greatest catch is the ice cold beer I have with a friend
at the end of the day after we have fished together and reflected
at how refreshed we feel after our little act of rebellion of getting away from it all, if only for a little while.

I belong to four bass clubs. So I'm a bass fishing junkie, but when the hybrids are biting well, I love to throw a topwater and see the explosion produced.

Usually catfish. Although I also like to go after needlenose gar too. I'm suprised they're not more popular as they are often in the 3 foot range and fight ferociously when hooked. Suprisingly though they're pretty light usuallly about 5-6lbs at most.
