Well 6 I think ..... plus they have just added new enforcement for 20 miles an hour OTT .... you will require a 12 month intensive retraining course, you will be electronically tagged to raise an alarm should you speed again and you will be required to display a two foot by two foot 'P' plate to the front and rear of any car that you drive. And if you offend again .... they will either put you on a course of bromide tablets or chemical castration .... whichever is more effective!
Seriously though, doing 50 in a 30 zone is not very clever. You may have killed someone and most certainly then have been banged up. Please keep it down ...

Barrowman is seriously misguided
It depends on when and where. If it was near a school then you might get 6 points, but in the middle of the night then I expect only three plus the usual £60 fine.
I got caught overtaking a pesky metro by a gatso at 1am on a dual carriageway on the A23 at Streatham doing 56mph. Despite being nowhere near any pedestrians and in my opinion still completely safe, it was a 30 limit and I got 3 points plus £60 fine.

It depends on a state. In Colorado, I got 4 points (out of 12) for 94 in 75 mph zone. If their calculation is based on percentage - after all 50/30 is not the same as 90/70 - you are in trouble. On the other hand, the concept of percentage may be way too complicated for a cop...

if you're presented a not uncomplicated and quickly penalty option you're likely staggering to take this determination, as your licence will be counseled with the minimum type of penalty factors (3) and the nice (presently £60) is probably to be less than that imposed by technique of the court. there'll also be no court prices. in case you flow to court and are stumbled on responsible of between 40-one & 50mph in a 30 they'll award you 4 - 6 factors plus often an outstanding equivalent on your weekly earnings (min £one hundred), plus court prices.

The range is 3 - 6 points; at that speed, you're likely to recieve the full 6, plus a hefty fine.
