What happened on Earth stayed on Earth. I though when you die, you would die alone.

Will you associate with someone if you knew that he is a serial killer in his previous life?

St. Paul (also known as Saul) consented to the death of Stephen, the first martyr. Paul later repented and is now in Heaven. So yes, we will be associating with those who were saved convicted (in one or more senses of the word) murderers on Earth.

But when they are in Heaven, they are no longer murderers, but members of the Communion of Saints -- free of all sin and stain.

Sure, once God has forgiven someone he cannot even remember the sins they committed. We just don't have what it takes to judge someone for what they did and everyone will be on the same level in Heaven. A murderer will no longer be a murderer but a saint in God's eyes. We are all just as bad as any murderer or thief even if the worst thing we did was lied.

Sense murder is one of the broken 10 commandments, I doubt that there will be any "convicted murderers" in heaven.

The answer to your question seems to depend upon what you mean by "saved." If you mean that the person repented and was forgiven... then I believe God would have a reason for forgiving him and allowing him into heaven, so yes I would treat him as any other. I believe that a person ascends, and therefore has no need to dwell on earthly matters. There is forgiveness in the afterlife.

Associate has no meaning when you are talking about heaven. Its not like there are people there. No cliques. Just spirits in a constant state of worship. This website has a good interpretation of the meaning of the scripture. http://www.gotquestions.org/doing-in-Heaven.html

Yep. We are all equal in God's eyes.
I should assume no less a position, dead or alive.....

Be happy to associate with:
- Moses was one of those convicted murderers, btw.
- David an adulterer.
- Paul was, at minimum, an accomplice.

All human, just like us and used by God for His purpose.....

All redeemed by an execution.

As I assume both David and Paul will be there, and I have always wanted to hear their own stories from their own lips, I would.

It is always a joy to hear how God can take people that were that far into sin and redeem them, totally altering their lives.

He can do the same for you, whatever sins you have been stained by also.

I'm sure we'll all be one and associating with everyone present. I think that's what heaven is all about. We'll all be free of the sins/frailties that held us bound here on earth. It will be all about GOD and not about us.
Hope to see you there!

You forgot the quotation marks around "Heaven". In the philosphy I subscribe to "Heaven" is a state of mind. If we assume the Christian Heaven, I won't be there. If I did a quick deathbed conversion though, I probably would because you'd have to talk to somebody in the moments between worship songs.
