how to change a cb radio to a base station cb radio?

I wanted to know how to make my regular cb radio into a base station like how do i set up the power on it?

You need a 12 volt power supply... only need a 2 amp output. Try a hobby store that sells electric trains.
Then buy a pre-amp mike and a huge 4 or 5 element beam and rotor... put it on your roof.

Not sure how this is related to car audio but...

A linear amp will help, plus a good 15 amp DC power supply.
