And get some thick cream for your nose, Eucerin cream is expensive, but it works. It has lanolin in it, and it protects skin from running snot, and rubbing tissues. You can put it on your lips, too.
Buy the kind in the tub.
Another treatment for your lips is to get a clean washcloth, and some warm, not hot, water. Hold it on your lips until it cools, and repeat several times. Then, quick, get the chapstick or bee wax, or vaseline, or whatever brand of lip balm you chose, and put it on. This puts moisture in your lips, then seals it in. Repeat wvery time the balm wears off.
And drink water! Lot's of it! Up to eight 8 ounce glasses a day! Stay away from mouthwash that has alcohol in it, it will make your lips worse.
And try to stay away from things that will dehydrate you. alcohol[especially beer], tea, coffee, all take moisture out of your body. Avoid them. If you can't stand the taste of water, tap or bottled, put some kool-aid in it.
Hope your get better, soon.

Take a MASS amount of vasaline (petrolium jelly) and spread a thick layer on your lips. Wait a half hour to forty-five minutes. Take a hard bristle toothbrush and scrub your lips. The vasaline will take heal the skin under the dead, chapped skin and will make the chapped, dead skin become loose in the jelly. Try it twice a day for a week and your lips should be back to normal :)

I just hope you pick the answer about scrubbing your severely chapped lips with a toothbrush.

While you are at it, throw some gasoline in your eyes or get a brazilian bikini wax.

Just remember before scrubbing, be sure to down about 9 shots of tequila so you don't feel any pain.

GOOD LUCK

You're not going to believe this but use neosporin on your lip for about a week, you'll see the difference. Good luck to you.
