Do what I did after Hyderabad nightmare. Phone the operator and threaten to have Broadband removed. You will be put through to a man in Newcastle who will sort out your problem there and then - magic!

Hello,

(ANS) This is typical of BT, the only phone number i.e. the 0845 number is a centralised contact number which puts you through to a call centre, as you say it puts you through to india.

**They definately DONT Give any UK contact numbers for broadband technical problems or support. Yet I know for a fact that BT have DSL teams in both Liverpool & Newcastle and probably many more in other locations.

**The only other option BT give is an emailler online form, complete your details & click the button and wait for an email resply. Great!! how user friendly is that (NOT!!).

**I know this may seem cold comfort too you but if your ISP is BT Then if you have a genuine fault its easier to get fixed than if your ISP is not BT. Believe me its painfully slow if your ISP isnt BT for fault fixing on BB.

If you haven't lost your broadband connection, you can email them.
We had some connection problems and followed the "contact" link on the "help" pages. We got a good email back from a UK based technician who was keen to know the outcome of his advice. I'm sure that if it had continued, we could have asked to speak by phone.
