It's an Oxymoron

I had a Christian education. I liked it because the public school I was going to wasn't that great and it was nice getting spiritual instruction, such as Bible Class, etc.

However, I feel public schools (at least in the US) have more technology and better resources for the kids. My children are in the public school system and I am happy with my decision.

I think christian schools can be a good thing. It depends on how you feel about the christian faith. I know until grade 8, when we moved, I was in a catholic school and it was a good school. In fact, the only reason I am not in a catholic school now is that there isn't one where we live. Although both public schools and christian schools can be great. It depends on the school itself, not the type of school.

I went to a catholic elementary school and even though i wasn't wild about the uniforms and the class was small and i got picked on a fair amount....i wouldn't trade it for any public school education.
i got a great base of learning techniques and habits and overall education.
hindsight is always 20/20 and i am thankful for my education there.

i went to public school for middle and high school and that was great b/c then i received more of a social education.

take care.

There's nothing wrong with it unless it takes doctrine over scientific or social-scientific fact. If you come out of a Christian school without knowledge of events as they actually transpired and the world as it actually is and critical thinking skills, then you ahve been brainwashed.
