O.k. The man is my best friend who I have more than just friend feelings for. I believe he feels the same way also. We have discussed giving each other gifts for Valentines Day but Im not really sure what would be the perfect gift. Any suggestions???

I was in the same predicament before. The man who was my friend is now my husband.
What I did was got a really cute card that said friend on it but it had hearts on it etc. The card looked like one you would give to a boyfriend but made him smile. He still has it and still tells me " I got the hint" when he looks at it!! Then I put together a shoebox full of stuff he really liked - like candy which was his favorite [he is a reader] a favorite book just stuff I knew he would really enjoy. I also put in there booklets of stuff we could go do together. He loved it and it worked :) :) He realized it took a lot of thought and especially since he knew I was paying attention to him.

You can get your partner a couple ring with both your names engraved on it. Or something like a keychain that you both can have which can let your partner been constantly reminded of you. the weather is right, have a picnic under the stars and tell her cute stuff all night and be really romantic. well, get him/her lol a box of chocolate, classic. u could take them to a dinner, maybe a movie,or u could cook at home and snuggle up on the coach wit a good movie. (DON'T FORGET TO SAY,"I ♥U!") Fill his/ her whole bedroom closet, garage, coat closet, car, drawer, bathroom cabinet, linen closet, etc. with balloons. Candle light dinner in a nice posh restaurant, dress elegant. Roses, chocolates as a gift too. dont wanna be rude but how about you cover your bed with rose petals, and wear something smashing. and rent a movie perhaps. And do what pleases your partner. you could pretend that valentines isnt big deal and you are not going to do anything. And voila surprise Well, you can give your partner a nice notebook that has pictures of you two and the places that you have been. Put comments next to it like "I was havin the time of my life laughing with you" "I love the way your eyes twinkle when you smile" how about you write a letter? Write all about how much you love. Or how about give it to him in a bottle, wine bottle will do!, to keep the tradition alive Or or or You could go to a church!!!

I bought my man a bathrobe and some cute boxer briefs that say "I <3 U" all over them...
I guess that wouldn't really be appropriate for a guy friend though...
Something easy yet thoughtful and personal would be to go to "Things Engraved" and get him a money clip or a mug or something with his initials engraved in it.

I would get some sporting event tickets... it says your willing to like what he likes... and you went the extra effort . My manfriend always loves if I take him to a basketball game.. or cologne is a popular choice.. but at the game you can enjoy it too , its like a present for both of you!!

hmm.. give him something EXTRA special. make your own present for him.
last year, i gave my boyfriend this huge book that i personally made. it has 7 pages though. ~.~ inside that huge book was everything that i've kept since the first day he courted me *that was almost 4 years ago ^_^*.
1st page- our pictures. *wacky ones would be cool*
2nd page- his letters and mine. *i laugh everytime i see his face turned red because of his love letters. haha!*
3rd page- a cd. i compiled all songs that i dedicate to him. *he loves it. he always listens to it*
4th page- a diskette. it's a power point presentation. what's inside it? secret. ^_^V
5th page- 14 red hearts with sweet qoutes written.
6th page- 28 pieces of rose petals. i've told him how much i love him.
7th page- huge card saying "I'LL BE VERY HAPPY TO BE YOUR VALENTINA FOR THE REST OF OUR LIVES.. HAVE DINNER WITH ME.. *smiley face*"
it's still in his bedroom. well kept..

well u could always just buy him flower... guys like getting flowers no matter how much they dont admit it... or yall could do something 2gether... im mean like something fun... that yall wouldnt normally do... make it a special nite... but if ur short on cash go with flowers...
